1. Bookings1.1 Bookings are not secured until full payment, including the security bond (where applicable), has been received.

1.2 A valid photo identification is required for all bookings.

1.3 The hired garment must only be worn by the individual who made the booking. If the garment is worn by another individual during the same hire period, Hire Desire By N reserves the right to charge an additional hire fee.

2. Hire Period2.1 Standard hire periods are generally 3–4 days unless otherwise agreed.

2.2 Weekend hires (Friday–Sunday) must be returned by 6:00 PM Monday for drop-off bookings.

2.3 Posted hires must be lodged over the Australia Post counter via Express Post (yellow satchel) by 4:00 PM on Monday, or the next business day if Monday is a public holiday.

2.4 Hire extensions are only available with prior written approval from Hire Desire By N.

3. Security Bond3.1 A refundable security bond may apply to all hires.

3.2 Bonds will be refunded once the garment has been inspected and confirmed to have been returned on time and in satisfactory condition.

3.3 Hire Desire By N reserves the right to deduct any outstanding fees, late fees, cleaning costs, repair costs or replacement costs from the security bond.

3.4 Allow 1-3 days for bonds to be sent back after receiving the hire garment back.

4. Pickup Bookings4.1 Pickup is available from Sunbury VIC 3429 and Kilmore VIC 3764.

4.2 Garments will generally be available for collection up to 72 hours prior to your event. You will be notified when your booking is ready.

4.3 Garments will be placed in the designated pickup box inside a bag labelled with your name.

5. Posted Bookings5.1 All posted hires must be returned using Australia Post Express Post (yellow satchel).

5.2 Garments must be lodged over the Australia Post counter by 4:00 PM on the next business day following your event.

5.3 Hire Desire By N is not responsible for delays caused by Australia Post.

5.4 Refunds, credits or reimbursement of shipping costs will not be provided due to postal delays that are outside our control.

6. Personalised Delivery6.1 Personal delivery bookings will be delivered contact-free to the nominated address within 48 hours prior to your event unless otherwise arranged.

6.2 Delivery fees apply and are determined based on your delivery location.

7. Returns7.1 All garments must be returned on the next business day after your event unless alternative arrangements have been approved in writing.

7.2 Late returns incur a fee of $20 per day.

7.3 If a late return causes another customer’s booking to be cancelled or impacted, Hire Desire By N reserves the right to charge a reimbursement fee equal to the affected hire fee.

7.4 The client remains fully responsible for the garment until it has been returned to the designated return box or received by Hire Desire By N.

7.5 If the garment receives any major stain or damage during your hire, you must notify Hire Desire By N immediately.

7.6 Professional cleaning is included in the hire price. Please do not wash, dry clean or attempt to clean the garment yourself.

8. Returns by Post8.1 All postal returns must be sent using Australia Post Express Post (yellow satchel).

8.2 Returns must be lodged on the next business day following your event.

8.3 A tracking number or lodgement receipt must be provided on the day of postage.

8.4 Postal returns must be handed over the Australia Post counter and must not be placed in a street posting box.

9. Sizing9.1 Size guides are provided as a guide only.

9.2 Hire Desire By N cannot guarantee the fit of any garment due to differences in body shape.

9.3 It is the customer’s responsibility to select the correct size.

9.4 Try-on appointments are strongly recommended where possible.

10. Garment Care10.1 All garments must be handled with care.

10.2 Please avoid fake tan transfer wherever possible.

10.3 Do not sit on rough surfaces while wearing the garment.

10.4 Keep garments away from pets, smoke, candles and sharp objects.

10.5 Garments must not be altered, pinned, hemmed, cut or permanently modified.

10.6 Do not wash, dry clean, steam or iron the garment unless instructed by Hire Desire By N.

10.7 We highly recommend lifting your garment up to avoid any damages when walking on rough surfaces.

11. Late Returns11.1 A late fee of $20 per day applies to overdue garments.

11.2 Late returns may result in forfeiture of the security bond.

11.3 Additional compensation may be charged where another booking is affected.

11.4 Replacement costs may apply if the garment is not returned.

12. Postal Responsibility12.1 Customers are responsible for ensuring their return parcel is lodged on time.

12.2 Customers must retain and provide their Australia Post lodgement receipt.

12.3 Failure to lodge the parcel on time will be treated as a late return.

12.4 Hire Desire By N is not responsible for courier delays once the parcel has been accepted by Australia Post.

13. Condition of Garments13.1 All garments are pre-loved hire garments.

13.2 Minor signs of wear, including small repairs, loose threads or slight fabric wear, may be present and do not qualify for a refund.

13.3 Any marks, pulls or existing damage must be reported with photos on the day of collection or delivery. Failure to do so may result in the customer being held responsible.

14. Damage14.1 Irreparable damage, including major tears, burns or permanent stains, will result in the customer being charged up to the full retail value (RRP) of the garment.

14.2 Where a garment can be repaired but its value has decreased, customers will be charged for the repair costs and any loss in value.

15. Photographs15.1 Hire Desire By N may repost or use publicly shared customer photographs for promotional purposes unless requested otherwise.

16. Refunds & Cancellations16.1 Bookings cancelled within 7 days of the event are not eligible for a refund or store credit.

16.2 Bookings cancelled more than 7 days but within 14 days of the event will receive a store credit for the hire fee only. Store credit is valid for 12 months.

16.3 Security bonds are non-refundable if a booking is cancelled.

16.4 Once a garment has been collected, delivered or posted, no refund or store credit will be issued.

16.5 If Hire Desire By N cancels a booking due to circumstances such as garment damage from a previous hire, a full refund will be provided.

17. Try-On Appointments17.1 All try-on appointments are held in Kilmore, Victoria.

17.2 Clients are responsible for any damage caused during their try-on appointment.

17.3 A $15 try-on fee applies to all appointments. This fee is redeemable against a future hire if booked within 24 hours of the appointment.

17.4 Try-on fees are non-refundable if cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment.

17.5 A maximum of 1 guest may accompany you to your appointment.

17.6 Please do not attend your appointment wearing a full face of makeup or wet fake tan.

17.7 Try on appointments are a maximum time of 30 minutes starting from your appointment time you booked for

17.8 If you are more than 15 minutes late to your try on appointment, your appointment will be cancelled and not issued a refund.

18. Loss or Theft18.1 The customer accepts full responsibility for the garment from the time it is collected, delivered or received until it has been returned to Hire Desire By N.

18.2 If a garment is lost, stolen or cannot be returned for any reason, the customer agrees to pay the full recommended retail price (RRP) of the garment.

18.3 If the garment is stolen, the customer must notify Hire Desire By N immediately and provide any relevant police report or supporting documentation if requested.

18.4 The security bond may be retained and applied towards any outstanding replacement costs. If the replacement cost exceeds the bond amount, the customer agrees to pay the remaining balance.

19. Acceptance of Terms19.1 By making payment for a booking, the customer confirms they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

19.2 Payment of a booking constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions in full.

19.3 The customer acknowledges that these Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with Hire Desire By N, including bookings made through social media, direct message, email, website or any other booking platform.

19.4 Hire Desire By N reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The Terms & Conditions in effect at the time the booking is confirmed will apply to that booking.
